About the Instructors

Dr. Sue Cooke is a Lecturer in biology and biotechnology at the University of New Hampshireat Manchester. In addition to Antibiotic Discovery, she teaches Anatomy & Physiology, Ecology, Genetics, and Senior Seminar. She supervises microbiology research focused on improving techniques for and exploring antibiotic discovery. She enjoys winning pub trivia, running, snuggling her two cats, and watching her daughter crush it at gymnastics.

Sydney Rollins is a PhD candidate in the Integrative Biology program at UNH, and the lab instructor for Antibiotic Discovery. She also teaches Ecology lab and Anatomy & Physiology lab, along with a seminar about teaching STEM to kids through her position as the Program Coordinator for the STEM-MoBILE. She enjoys playing with her chihuahua and her chickens, going to the beach, reading, and playing video games.
